Job Opportunity: Office Admin Intern
Chaperone Limited is a highly customer-centric and innovative financial services company. We are licensed by the Central Bank of Lesotho as an Issuer of Electronic Payment Instruments in terms of section 12 of the Payment Systems Act No. 55 of 2014.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Office Admin Intern to join our team, reporting directly to the Sales and Distribution Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Help Desk Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer and agent inquiries (walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, email).
- Log, track, and follow up on queries to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide accurate information on C-Pay services, products, and processes.
Agents & Merchants Onboarding and Training
- Assist in onboarding new agents and merchants, including documentation and KYC verification.
- Support training sessions on C-Pay products, systems, and procedures.
- Ensure agents and merchants understand operational guidelines and compliance requirements.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized records of agents, merchants, and onboarding documentation.
- Prepare reports on onboarding activities, help desk queries, and field support.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, training sessions, and field visits.
Sales & Distribution Support
- Support the rollout of campaigns and activations.
- Assist in monitoring agent performance and engagement.
- Help ensure branding and merchandising materials are distributed correctly.
Key Knowledge
- Basic understanding of customer service principles
- Familiarity with mobile money or fintech services (an advantage)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of administrative and documentation processes

Qualifications, Experience, and Exposure
- Diploma or currently pursuing a qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- Previous internship or customer-facing experience is an added advantage
- Interest in fintech, mobile money, or digital payments
